Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 15 July 2025 · Effective Date: 15 July 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Anuvia website and your engagement with Anuvia's services. By contacting us, submitting an enquiry, or entering into a service agreement with us, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance

Use of this website or engagement of a Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Clients must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into an agreement. If you are engaging on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

3. Description of Services

Anuvia provides administrative and organisational support in connection with retirement paperwork and records. Our services include structured document reviews, coordination of replacement document applications, and educational workshops. All services are administrative in nature. Anuvia does not provide financial advice, legal advice, or any advice on regulated matters. Clients should seek their own qualified advisers for such matters.

Service details, including scope, inclusions, and pricing, are set out on our website and confirmed in writing at the start of each engagement. Anuvia may update service descriptions from time to time.

4. User Responsibilities

5. Service Engagement Process

Services begin following an initial enquiry, a discussion of scope, and written confirmation from both parties. Service fees are payable as agreed in the written confirmation. Third-party office charges incurred on the Client's behalf are separate from Anuvia's fees and are passed through at cost with receipts. Anuvia will provide an estimate of likely third-party charges before beginning any engagement that involves such costs.

6. Payments

Fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment terms are confirmed in writing at the start of each engagement. Anuvia accepts bank transfer and other payment methods as agreed at engagement commencement. Third-party office charges are invoiced separately with supporting receipts.

Refund Policy

For the Records Health Check: fees are due upon delivery of the written report. If an engagement is cancelled before the on-site visit has taken place, no fee is due. If cancelled after the visit but before report delivery, a partial fee reflecting time spent may apply, discussed and agreed in writing.

For the Reissuing Coordination service: fees are due progressively as agreed in the written confirmation. Third-party office charges already submitted to issuing offices are non-refundable.

For the Community Education Series: a deposit may apply. Cancellation terms are confirmed in writing at the start of the engagement.

7. Intellectual Property

Reports, maps, templates, and other content produced by Anuvia in connection with a service are provided to the Client for their personal or organisational use. Clients may share these outputs with their own advisers or store them with household records. Reproduction or distribution of Anuvia-produced materials for commercial purposes requires written permission from Anuvia. The Anuvia name, logo, and website content remain the property of Anuvia.

8. Scope Limitation and Disclaimer

Anuvia's services are administrative and organisational. Nothing we produce — including written reports, records maps, or workshop materials — constitutes financial advice, legal advice, or any advice on regulated matters. Any items noted in a records review that have financial or legal implications should be discussed with a suitably qualified professional. Anuvia expressly disclaim any responsibility for decisions made by Clients on the basis of our reports without separate qualified advice.

Services are provided on a reasonable endeavours basis. We cannot guarantee the timelines of third-party issuing offices or the outcome of any document application submitted on your behalf.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Anuvia's liability to any Client arising from a service engagement is limited to the total fees paid by the Client for the engagement in question. Anuvia is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from use of our services or this website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful default, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Anuvia against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, from information you provided that was false or unauthorised, or from your misuse of our services or website.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement in writing. If Anuvia terminates an engagement due to circumstances outside our control or at the Client's request, fees for work completed to the date of termination are due. If termination is due to Anuvia's default, fees already paid for work not completed will be refunded.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct discussion first. If that is not successful within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation. If mediation does not resolve the matter, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with the courts of Melaka as the preferred venue.

13. General Provisions

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services or website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
